After earning his Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from D J Sanghvi College of Engineering, Sameer successfully pursued his Master of Science in the same field at Stony Brook University.

Sameer spent the next three years on Long Island as an Associate Scientist at Cornerstone Pharmaceuticals, Inc. At this dynamic cancer research firm he designed, implemented and analyzed in vivo and in vitro experiments in the pursuit of less toxic chemotherepeutic anti-cancer drugs.

Building on his analytical and statistical knowledge, Sameer also perfomed all the data analysis demanded by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as part of Cornerstone Pharmaceutical’s Investigational New Drug (IND) Application and required for presentations to investors. Being a ‘power user’ of database and statistical software like Microsoft Excel, Sigma Plot, Graphpad Prism among others, he was able to streamline the data collection, analysis and graphing process and eliminate sources of error.
